Taillight Bar

      LED technology has come a long way over the past few years.  They are brighter and far less expensive than they once were.  They also last much longer than traditional bulbs and utilize far less energy.  One of many mods on this Tacoma is the Taillight Bar as depicted just below the tailgate below.  This model brightens at a stop, turn white in reverse and each end blinks when indicating a turn in the respective direction.

      I purchased the Taillight Bar from JC Whitney for $49 plus shipping.  Installation was relatively easy.  I spliced into the wires routed to the factory-installed hitch.
