For a long
time, I had plugged the hitch receiver with an LED brake light. On
a separate note had looked for for a rear chrome or stainless steel
bumper guard to no avail. An impressive compromise is the LED Hitch Step
by Bully.

| The
Bully LED Hitch Step (part number
CR-605L) is simple to install and there is no assembly. It
slips right into a 2-inch receiver with no problem. By
removing the adaptor sleeve, it can fit smaller hitches too.
The electrical is ready wired for a standard trailer adaptor plug. |

The
Bully name is a Trademark of
Pilot
Automotive.
Although
the
Bully LED Hitch Step is pre-wired and ready to install out of
the box, handy wiring instructions are provided in case the LEDS
need to be replaced or the wiring needs to be changed for custom
applications.

I found
that all major Auto and Truck Parts and Accessories stores carries
popular Bully products. Equal to the top of the list is
PepBoys. |
 |
|
The
Bully LED Hitch Step is found with a seeming set price
everywhere for $79.99. A similar model without the
LEDS (CR-605)is
available for $20 less. I was lured to
PepBoys
by a $10 Off Coupon they often feature on their Web Site or
by way of Coupon Sites such as
DealCatcher.com. |

By the
way, The
Bully LED Hitch Stepp does not JUST look cool, it has a much
better function than an extra LED brake light. The Step is a
lot easier to use than the ones sometimes built in the back of many
trucks because it sticks out just far enough to enable additional
leverage when climbing into or reaching into the back.
