      I was considering a new truck for quite some time.  On one evening, an oncoming driver stopped inexplicably while turning in front of our Chevrolet Impala.  No one was hurt, but the decision to get a new vehicle was suddenly made for me.

       

      My wife did some homework and she found that the Toyota Tacoma was rated high by Consumer Reports.  I

found a tempting online offer made by Courtesy Toyota of Orlando.  I shopped the vehicle and the price in the area

 

 and ultimately found that the offer was unbeatable.  In fact, a David Maus Toyota Sales Manager assured me that Courtesy Toyota would never honor the quoted price . . . but they did.  We were so impressed with the deal (and

subsequently with the truck) that we purchased a second Tacoma for our son who recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan.  That made it the third vehicle that we purchased from Courtesy Toyota.  (The first was my wife's Camry.)

                           

      I have been having so much fun with my new truck and I have found it addictive to shop for upgrades, accessories and parts.  As proud of we are of our son and of our country, I decided to enhance my "Toy" truck with a Support Our Troops theme.

                        

      During my research, I have found a plethora of forums and blogs written by other Tacoma owners who have shared their experiences.  I have been amazed at how often the same problems I have come across have befuddled others.  I have been proud of many of the solutions I have found or fabricated myself.  I decided to expand the enjoyment I have with my truck to develop a web home to show off my truck and perhaps help others find ways they can customize their vehicles any way that they wish.
