Blenheim was our first night's stop on the south island of New Zealand.  Across the street of the Blenheim Country Hotel is a picturesque park.  Amidst the beautiful walkways, ornamental flowers and well-manicured lawn is a tranquil fountain and a handsome clock tower.

            A plaque on the fountain (above) commemorates the men and women of the Blenheim area that sacrificed their lives in World War II.

      The Blenheim Country Hotel is a Scenic Circle location.  Scenic Circle Hotels Limited is a privately owned company, established by Earl Hagaman and Ralph Brown in the early 1980's.
