When you travel over 13 hours on one plane, you've invested money as well as time.  Accordingly, one might expect more for their money than one might expect from a short domestic flight in these days.

      Just the same, our experience with Air New Zealand was a welcoming way to begin our tour of that country.

      The representatives of Air New Zealand were ALL very friendly and accommodating.  We saw back-to-back movies if we wanted to and enjoyed two tasty meals.  The seats were quite comfortable for coach including foot rests.
