      Florida not only plays host to an eclectic group of interesting people, but also to a wide assortment of creatures as well.  I almost stepped on this "leaf" laying on our front walk as I got home one night.

           

      A second look indicated that this leaf had two stems!?

            

      Only words that I have no way of knowing how to spell came to mind when I realized that this was not a leaf and its eyes were apparently protruding from its mouth.
